INSTALLATIONS I work with a range of craft materials and appropriate hand made objects and heirlooms from my family. I frequently transpose into glass those objects that are fiber and textile based. I arrange these in conjunction with one another both thoughtfully and purposefully. The manipulation of light often plays an important and morphing role in these works. It is my goal to immerse the viewer physically and psychologically within these environments. The installations are activators, reminders and preservations that speak about identity, history, and memory.
