FUNCTIONAL WARES My grandmother always had fresh and dried flowers from the gardens and fields through out the farmhouse. I make bud vases because they allow for more modest floral arrangements. They work well in groupings and pairs or can be used individually. They make a room more quaint and special but are not over the top. Some of the functional wares are decorated with glass lace or glass doilies. The colors of these works are inspired by 1940's lingerie. They are signed with the artists name. The latter bottle and flask shaped bud vases are in vintage colors inspired by my grandmother's collection of Weller, RumRill, and Mc Coy pottery. They are signed Someware Glass.
