Welcome to the Website of Elizabeth Ware Perkins and Someware Glass!
Whether my works are functional, decorative, shadowboxes, sculpture, or installations they are all dredged in a batter of biography and fiction. Through craftsmanship and artistry they are deep fat fried in nostalgia and served up to you here through the galleries page. The glass processes used in the works run the gamut to include many and sometimes multiple blowing and casting techniques. These processes are more closely described on each individual gallery page. The glass pieces are often used in conjunction with other mixed media objects and heirlooms. I frequently reference and use items that were once only home and handcrafted. The components and fragments of my work reiterate my reason for making; this is further explored in my artistic statement. To be an artist is such a joy.
